What To Use To Clean Your Doll
We recommend that you use the following to clean the doll. This is not a hard and fast rule however in our experience this will make your life easier and ensure you are giving your doll the best possible care:
-
Antibacterial soap
-
Water
-
Talcum powder (baby powder)
-
Light sponge
-
A second sponge cut up into smaller swabs
-
A non-abrasive drying cloth
-
Medical pincers
-
Strong paper towel
Be prepared, that after every single use you will need to clean your beautiful doll. This rule is even more important when it comes to cleaning a TPE doll. TPE is a very porous material, so if her vaginal, anal and oral cavities stay dirty for a long time, you will see some mold. This can cause some health problems, and you will have to replace the affected cavity right away.
It is very easy to clean TPE and Silicone sex dolls – just put her in a warm bath or shower, and please use some very light antibacterial soap. Wash her wig separately, using a simple shampoo and conditioner. Let her hair air dry and please do not use a blow dryer on any part of her body, including the wig.
Makeup can be removed using a washcloth with warm water. Please do not put the sex doll’s face in the water when taking a bath.

After Washing
Pat dry your doll with a towel. Do not let any water stay on her body as it may cause mold to grow if you are storing her in a dark place. It is also recommended to apply baby powder to her body. This procedure will remove any unwanted moisture and make your beauty’s skin soft. TPE material, especially after a wash, may become a little bit sticky. Applying baby powder will make your sex doll’s skin as smooth as silk.
How Often Do I Need To Clean My Doll?
There are two aspects to this question, one being for hygiene whilst the other for the longevity of the doll.
We would suggest that clean your doll every 2 – 4 weeks. This should be the perfect balance between hygiene and ensuring your doll lasts as long as possible. Many of our customers are quite anal (pardon the pun) on hygiene and choose to clean the doll after each use. Keep in mind that doing this could degrade the doll’s skin quicker and shorten the lifespan or lead to skin tears sooner than you would have liked.
We do recommend that you get into a routine of cleaning your doll so it becomes second nature.
How Do I Clean My Dolls Vagina, Anus and Mouth?
Cleaning the dolls vagina, anus and mouth can be done many ways. You can do this either in the bath, shower or when the doll is lying down and not submerged in water.
The method we would suggest is to take the doll out of the bath or shower and lie her on the side which will expose both the vagina and anus. Then follow the steps listed below:
-
Grab one of the small swab sponges with the medical pincers and coat the sponge with warm water and antibacterial soap, ensuring it is thoroughly coated.
-
Push the sponge into the vagina or anus and using the pincers move it around the orifice until it is thoroughly cleaned.
-
Remove the sponge, clean using warm water and repeat step 1 & 2 again.
-
At this stage the vagina and anus should be cleaned and free of any bacteria.
-
Using the pincers again, grab a second dry swab sponge and insert in the vagina and anus to take out most of the moisture, then remove.
-
Finally, wrap the strong paper towel around the end of the pincers and put inside the doll again, giving it a final dry.
-
Once the doll has dried use the talcum powder on the exterior of the vagina and anus
Your doll should now be clean inside and out and ready to use again. You can follow the steps above for the doll’s mouth also, which should be easier to clean.
How To Wash The Doll’s Face
Use a warm sponge with antibacterial soap to gently pat down the fact. Pay special attention to the eyes and eyelashes as you want to avoid getting these wet.
Gently then pat down the face with a dry non-abrasive cloth to remove most of the moisture, allowing it to sit for an hour after this to dry naturally.
It is very important that you do not submerge your dolls head in water at any point.
Cleaning the wig is very straight forward. You will need the following:
-
Mild Shampoo
-
Mild Conditioner
-
Comb
Remove the doll’s wig and wash thoroughly with both the shampoo and conditioner. Once the wig is cleaned thoroughly then allow it to dry naturally. You may wish to purchase a wig stand to make things easier and speed up the process.
Once the wig is dry, use the comb to gently comb through the hair starting from the bottom slowly working your way up to the top. This will prevent you from pulling the comb through any knots and removing hair from the wig.
Cleaning The Dolls Clothes
It is very important that you check the clothes you are putting on the doll will not transfer any of the colours to the doll. Both types of skin, both silicone and TPE will take on any colour from clothing if they have not been thoroughly washed prior to use on the doll. TPE skin, in particular, is very porous and will stain.
To clean the clothes, use your usual washing technique but ensure that the clothing is fully dried before putting on the doll.
This applies to anything that comes into contact with the doll if it contains ink or anything that could potentially discolour the skin, avoid contact.
How Do I Dry My Doll After Cleaning?
Ensuring your doll has dried fully is very important as it prevents and friction on the skin which could potentially cause a tear of the skin.
To dry the doll, use a light non-abrasive cloth to gently pat down the doll when wet. Do not apply too much much pressure as the final part of the drying will be natural.
Once you have removed the bulk of moisture from the doll, allow it to sit for an hour and full dry naturally. After this time you can apply the talcum powder to the doll’s body to give it a nice fragrance and prevent the skin from becoming tacky.
Warning:
Avoid the following steps when cleaning your doll, this is very important to increasing the lifetime of the doll:
-
Use any cleaning agent which will have a reaction with the silicone or TPE skin
-
Avoid using any sharp objects when cleaning the doll as this could lead to puncturing the skin
-
Avoid getting the head or neck submerged in water for any period of time
-
Do not apply too much pressure to the doll’s skin when cleaning or drying the doll as again this could lead to a tear
-
NEVER use a hair or blow dryer to dry your doll, this will almost certainly damage your doll
The Best Professional Advice
Store your doll in a dry and cool place, avoiding direct sunlight and freezing temperatures. Try to use an only water-based lubricant for oral, vaginal and anal cavities to prevent the doll’s skin from tearing. Petroleum and silicone lubricants may permanently damage your sex doll. You may also use a condom for a simple cleanup after use.
Remember, that your doll’s hygiene is just as important, as your hygiene. Keeping her body clean and sanitized will make her last years and keep you healthy and therefore, happy!
